Community Health Worker Pay Inequity – CHW Focus Group

Looking for Community Health Workers working in both the clinical and non-clinical work setting to join!
Hawai’i Public Health Institute (HIPHI) has received funding from DOH to assess the potential of certification/regulation for the CHW workforce. HIPHI is contracting two evaluators to host talk story/focus groups of at least 25 CHWs to collect data/feedback and create an assessment that is reflective of the community members’. We started to kick off the activities during this past conference to collect feedback from the employers and CHWs that attended.
The group will be divided into two different sections:
- Clinical CHWs – 10:00AM – 11:00AM
- Non-Clinical CHWs – 11:00AM – 12:00PM
